War and violence have always been a part of human civilization. But this doesn’t mean our present world has to accept them as inevitable. This presentation will explore the concept that wars can be prevented and that factors contributing to violent response can be changed, whether they are factors of attitude and behavior or are related to larger social, economic, political, or cultural conditions.
