There are two types of leadership systems: life-giving systems and death-dealing systems. Death-dealing systems are characterized by action-reaction chains: fear, greed, ethnic tensions, alienation, and despair lead to acts of terrorism, causing nations to resort to military power. Life-giving systems, on the other hand, are characterized by trust, openness, and great regard for human dignity. In these systems, energy is directed toward building a productive and hopeful future and people are empowered to achieve their god-given potential. This session will discuss how to develop leaders whose vision and actions create and support life-giving systems.
